Duties
- Manage daily dietary operations and staff scheduling.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate dietary employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, OSHA, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
- Oversee food production, meal service, menu planning, and food ordering.
- Maintain dietary documentation, Nutritional Assessments, Plans of Care, and MDS updates.
- Process diet changes and ensure accuracy with physician orders.
- Monitor food temperatures, storage, meal service, and kitchen safety.
- Work closely with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in department head meetings, Quality Assurance, and Care Plan meetings.
- Assist with kitchen operations as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Healthcare and culinary experience required.
- CDM preferred.
- Food Service Director experience preferred.
