What You Will Do

  • You will utilize your skills, knowledge, and clinical judgement to provide a high standard of care clinical research.
  • Other Key Responsibilities include:
    • Follows specific study dietary requisitions completed by the study/clinical coordinator to create menus
    • Works with the dietician for nutritional guidance as needed
    • Places dietary orders with appropriate vendor
    • Captures dietary supply inventory levels in a cost-efficient manner
    • Maintains cost records for study meal cost reports
    • Captures dietary duties and schedules of the Dietary Assistant
    • Sustains soft drink inventory
    • Supports and participates in Corporate and Departmental initiatives

    YOU NEED TO BRING…

    • A High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Food Service Certification preferred
    • Computer skills including data entry, word processing, and electronic mail system
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
    • Ability to function effectively in a work environment with time restraints
    • 1-2 years of related experience
    • Forteza may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day
    • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment
    • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck
    • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
    • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs
    • Regular and consistent attendance
    • Variety of hours may be required
