Dietary Aide PT

The Alps at Wayne Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for caring, dependable, and hardworking Dietary Aides to join our team. Every meal is an opportunity to brighten someone's day. As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an important role in providing nutritious meals and exceptional service that helps our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at home.

Schedule

Part Time: 6 AM to 2 PM, two-three weekday shifts and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas and assist with meal service
• Deliver meals and beverages to residents promptly and accurately
• Assist residents during mealtimes as needed
• Follow resident diet orders and portion guidelines
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized dining environment
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Work closely with the dietary team to provide an excellent dining experience

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated candidates
