About the role
The Dietary Aide position at Trillium Woods in Plymouth, MN, is part-time with flexible shifts available on weekdays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
- Serve meals in the health center.
- Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
- Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
- Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.
- Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Previous experience in nursing home and/or food service preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
- Ability to follow instructions and explain menu items clearly.
- Team-oriented, with a focus on resident satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
- Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time.
- Able to stand and walk 90% of the work day.
- Able to stoop, bend and stretch frequently.
- Lifting weight requirement will not be more than 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to see, hear, and speak.

Pay
Pay is $19.00 per hour, DOE.
