Schedule
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday)
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Monday, Saturday & Sunday)

Eligibility for benefits depends on the number of hours worked per week and employment classification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.
- Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
- Serve meals in the Health Center.
- Set up and clear tables in the Health Center dining room.
- Transport hot and cold foods to and from the Health Center.
- Transport necessary food service supplies and non-food items to and from the Health Center.
- Maintain equipment, workstations, and dining areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
- Maintain standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions.
- Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, senior living, or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow instructions, dietary orders, and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail when following food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Ability to communicate with residents to take meal orders accurately and enter orders into a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful when assisting older adults.
- Dependable and team-oriented, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction and quality service.
Physical Requirements
- Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time.
- Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the work day.
- Ability to stoop, bend, and stretch frequently.
- Lifting weight requirement will not be more than 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to see, hear, and speak.
All new hires must pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
