About the role
We have an excellent dietary department that produces quality nutritious meals. Come and be a part of our excellent team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the cook/manager
- Preparation of meals
- Cleanliness and serving the dining room
- Portioning and serving of food items
- Delivering trays and carts to resident floors
- Cleaning of dining rooms
- Working on the tray line
- Working in the dish room and pot sink
- Sweeping and mopping
- Disposal of trash and recyclables
- Per diem duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
Requirements
- Ability to perform job responsibilities
- Ability to speak English adequately to perform job
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be interested in geriatrics
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally
Experience helpful but not mandatory.
