DIETARY AIDE/ASST

Responsibilities

Responsible for the accurate recording of patient diets in patient Kardex and the updating of changes as necessary to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer operations preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler Safety Training Card.

Other

• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Able to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
