About the role

The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving meals to residents in a senior living community setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and serves meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
  • Ensures food safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Assists with meal planning and preparation as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a food service or related field preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., using a POS system).
