About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.
Responsibilities
- Portion and serve food items
- Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
- Assist with tray line service
- Operate dish room and pot sink
- Sweep, mop, and manage trash and recyclables
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Positive interaction with residents, families, staff, and the public
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs., and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Alternating weekends and holidays required
- Shifts available: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM or 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM
