Dietary Aide, 20hrs

Join us as a Dietary Aide at MiraVista in Holyoke, MA. This is a full-time position working 32 hours per week from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

About the role

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. You will work with the facility's dietitian as necessary, implement recommended changes, and follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties, including work areas, refrigerators, and freezers
• Set up meals, food carts, and unit pantries as instructed
• Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, and fruit salad
• Deliver and serve food to designated units
• Stock unit pantries, nursing stations, water, and fruit areas
• Perform dish washing and cleaning procedures
• Ensure utensils are readily available for the next meal

Requirements

• High school education preferred
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred
• Previous experience in food service preferred
