DIET AIDE (PART TIME)

About the role

Culinary Services Group is hiring immediately for a part time DIET AIDE position. The position is located at Alabama Mental Health - 1405 Ruby Tyler Parkway, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. The schedule is part time, offering AM and PM shifts on Friday - Monday with varying hours. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Requirements

Prior dietary aide and healthcare experience preferred.

Pay

$12.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour
