Diesel Truck Mechanic

Role Overview

This position focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing reefer units, supporting senior technicians, and ensuring adherence to maintenance standards. It offers hands-on training, certifications, and opportunities for growth within a food solutions distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs under supervision
• Complete detailed work orders, including complaint, cause, and correction
• Assist senior technicians and contribute to shop projects
• Follow company and manufacturer maintenance standards

Qualifications & Skills

• EPA 608/609 Certification preferred
• Basic mechanical skills or strong aptitude for learning
• Knowledge of vehicle systems or truck components is a plus
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and quality work
