Job Overview

LV Petroleum is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join their maintenance team at their Paulsboro, NJ shop. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Ensuring optimal functionality of diesel-powered equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work conducted
• Staying updated with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel technology is preferred
• Considerable experience in diesel repair and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
