GTC builds the team with the best employees and we’re hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the Ridgefield, WA Western Star Northwest location.
Responsibilities
- Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Work with a team and leadership you can rely on, and develop technical skills through training opportunities.
- Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
- Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
- Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred, but other skillsets are welcome.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude.

Benefits
Compensation based upon level of skill and experience, hourly compensation is $20.00 to $50.00. Night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor differential pay available.
