Diesel Technician / Mechanic - Ridgefield, WA

Diesel Technicians at Gordon Truck Centers (GTC) dealerships lead the charge in workmanship, commitment to safety, and providing reliable, first-class service to customers across the Pacific Northwest. GTC builds the team with the best employees and we’re hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the Ridgefield, WA Western Star Northwest location.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Work with a team and leadership you can rely on, and develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred, but other skillsets are welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Team player mentality.
• Belief in safety first.

Skills

• Diagnostic testing.

Benefits

Compensation based upon level of skill and experience, hourly compensation is $20.00 to $50.00. Night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor differential pay available.
