Diesel Technicians at Gordon Truck Centers (GTC) dealerships lead the charge in workmanship, commitment to safety, and providing reliable, first-class service to our customers. We build our team with the best employees and we're now hiring Diesel Technicians with a minimum of 2 years of heavy duty experience for the Fairbanks, AK TrailerCraft location!
Responsibilities
- Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Work with cutting edge industry technologies.
- Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Team player mentality.
- Belief in safety first.
Qualifications
- Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Pass a motor vehicle records check for positions with driving responsibilities.
