About the role

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is a premium commercial truck dealership offering a full-service experience including sales, highly skilled technicians, readily available parts, leasing, rental, and financial services. We serve truckers, owner operators, fleets, and companies as a premier one-stop shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose truck problems and perform repairs.
• Create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions.
• Tag all warranty parts that are replaced and turn in parts with core value.
• Communicate updates to the Foreman daily.
• Maintain organized toolboxes and clean, safe workstations.

Responsibilities & Skills Assessment

• D-Level Technician: Basic chassis repairs, basic engine repairs, chassis Remove & Install, preventative and/or maintenance, internal/factory warranty processes.
• C-Level Technician: Basic diagnostic skills, major vendor/factory comfort, most chassis repairs, engine accessory repairs, complete engine Remove & Install.
• B-Level Technician: Advanced diagnostics skills, complete engine repairs, complex chassis repairs, knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs, HVAC.
• A-Level Technician: Proficient on all vehicle component repairs, diagnose all vehicle component failures, competent in root cause failure analysis, vibration analysis, aftertreatment repairs and diagnostics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude, dedication to excellence, motivated, team oriented, desire to succeed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check.

Pay

$24.50–$51.50 per hour depending on experience level and certifications, plus production bonus.
