About the role
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop. Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products. Maintain own tools.
Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
Qualifications
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Have experience with internal engine parts
- Be able to complete a basic in frame
- Comprehend aftertreatment systems
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
Additional requirements
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements
- This role will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
- Work is required to be completed 100% in person/On-site
Pay
Min Salary $27.30, Max Salary $37.00
