Primary Responsibilities Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehiclesPerforms diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehiclesFollow established technical & administrative processesComplete repair orders & parts usage formsCommunicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customersRemain current on technical & regulation requirementsPerform road service calls as required Requirements Education: High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of automotive, truck, or bus repair.Valid driver’s license & New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate (preferred, but not required).: Valid driver’s license & New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate (preferred, but not required).Tools & Equipment: Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.Skills & Competencies: Proficient with computer operation and usage. Physical Demands Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
