Diesel Shop Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Detect and resolve diesel engine, electrical system, exhaust, DEF, clutch, and transmission issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial vehicles and trucks
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot drivability issues
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
• Collaborate with other technicians and communicate effectively with supervisors
• Ensure a clean, organized, and professional shop environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel technician (A- or B-level preferred)
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, emission, engine, and drivetrain systems
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Able to maintain production pace without sacrificing quality
• Stable work history and commitment to professional development

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
