DIESEL MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN

Job Summary

We are a well-established, full-service repair shop located in Uxbridge, MA. We have an immediate opening for a talented, hard-working individual to join our team of technicians. We're currently looking to fill a Diesel Mechanic position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy-duty truck repair
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicles; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Commercial License preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of DOT standards
• Proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repairs including PMs, air & hydraulic brakes and basic vehicle diagnostics
• Preventative Maintenance repairs on diesel engine vehicles such as replacing or rotating tires, completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs and cooling system maintenance
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a "can do" attitude
• Willingness to work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
