Diesel Mechanic - Second Shift

Role: Diesel/CNG Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel and CNG trucks and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.Estimate repair costs and perform work within standard labor times.Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete safety checks.Document parts usage, repair times, and assist senior mechanics.Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 2 years relevant experience.Valid driver’s license with a clean record.Ability to perform physical work with or without accommodations.Successful completion of pre-employment drug and physical tests.Team-oriented, problem-solving mindset, adaptable to varied challenges. Key Duties & Environment: Work primarily in shop and outdoor settings, often lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.Operate in conditions with dirt, noise, weather extremes, and potential occupational hazards.Use modern tools and procedures for vehicle maintenance, working on both diesel and CNG trucks.
