About the role

We are seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair late-model motorcoaches, buses, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tune-ups
  • Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, exhaust, and safety systems
  • Using computer diagnostic equipment to identify issues
  • Repairing or replacing components such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, and transmissions
  • Conducting test drives to ensure vehicle safety
  • Assisting with parts sourcing and shop maintenance

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of related experience or training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read service manuals
  • Experience with diagnostic tools
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) within 90 days

Physical requirements

  • Lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Working around mechanical equipment, fumes, and noise
