About the role
We are seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair late-model motorcoaches, buses, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tune-ups
- Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, exhaust, and safety systems
- Using computer diagnostic equipment to identify issues
- Repairing or replacing components such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, and transmissions
- Conducting test drives to ensure vehicle safety
- Assisting with parts sourcing and shop maintenance
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of related experience or training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read service manuals
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) within 90 days
Physical requirements
- Lifting up to 75 pounds
- Working around mechanical equipment, fumes, and noise
