About the role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium and heavy-duty trucks to ensure quality repairs and maximized uptime.
Responsibilities
- Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Identifying mechanical and electrical issues, including CAN wiring problems
- Repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems
- Using diagnostic tools to minimize downtime
- Completing repairs safely and efficiently, adhering to OEM standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience, with medium and heavy-duty truck repair preferred
- Knowledge of Freightliner, Detroit, and Cummins systems
- Proficiency in diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to provide a standard set of hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks
