About the Role

Responsibilities
- Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to OEM, DOT, and Swift specifications.
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair minor and complex issues on all equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components, such as refrigerated units, diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and other systems.
- Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of on-the-job training or a diploma in vehicle maintenance from a vocational or trade school.
- Must possess the tools required to accomplish essential job functions.
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals, complete/fill tags, and repair orders.
- Ability to use and learn diagnostic software for tractors/trailers.
