We are seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including motorcoaches, buses, trucks, and trailers. Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, exhaust, and safety systems. Use computer diagnostic tools to identify issues, replace components such as brake pads and belts, and conduct test drives to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Assist with parts procurement and general shop maintenance. Qualifications include at least 3 years of related experience or training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are essential. A valid CDL is required within 90 days. Vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred. Skills include the ability to read manuals, work independently, and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds. Physical requirements involve working around mechanical equipment, fumes, vibration, and noise, with accommodations available if needed.
