Diesel Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Tractor Mechanic at our Wilmington, OH Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 Trucks.
• Assist with maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding, and work on forklifts.

Requirements

• Experience with preventive maintenance on Class 8 trucks.
• Experience with minor and major repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Experience with AC and Electrical repairs.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be dependable.
• PREFERRED: Experience working on Cummins & Detroit engines.
• PREFERRED: Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System.
• PREFERRED: 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience.
• PREFERRED: Welding experience.
• PREFERRED: CDL Class 8 towing experience.
