Key Responsibilities
- Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tune-ups
- Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, exhaust, and safety systems
- Utilizing computer diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues
- Replacing components such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, and transmissions
- Conducting test drives to verify vehicle safety and performance
- Completing repairs based on driver reports and maintenance schedules
- Assisting with parts inventory and shop/facility upkeep
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and/or training
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read service and repair manuals and operate diagnostic equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required within 90 days
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work around mechanical environments
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening

- Hourly pay ranging from $26 to $55 based on experience
