Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on Bobcat compact construction equipment using manufacturer diagnostic software and tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Complete service repair assignments in a timely manner.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
- Keep the Service Lead informed of current and potential issues related to service repairs, parts requirements, and customer concerns.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- General mechanical knowledge and experience; experience with hydraulics, electrical, or drive systems is preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in construction, industrial, automotive, or related industries.
- Strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and be trained.
- Ability to manage time and attendance; must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour.
