Diesel Mechanic 1st Shift

About the role

The role involves performing routine and complex mechanical repairs on diesel engines and related components. The position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various types of diesel engine issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Work with other technicians to resolve complex mechanical problems
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality control standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive mechanics
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and troubleshooting techniques

Qualifications

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office Suite

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
