About the role
Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment at a park complex and regional crew.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance, repairs, preventative tasks, and body work on various equipment including cars, trucks, tractors, mowers, backhoes, and generators.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed.
- Assist other parks as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of the Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic Trainee program or two years of journey-level mechanic experience, including diesel repair.
- Active Pennsylvania Class 1, 4, or 7 Inspection Mechanic Certification.
- Class C driver’s license.
- Must meet residency and physical requirements.
Skills
- Strong repair skills and ability to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and body repairs.
- Ability to keep accurate documentation.
- Ability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays.
No telework option.
