About the role
Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of diesel and gasoline vehicles and heavy equipment at a park complex.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment including trucks, tractors, mowers, backhoes, and trail groomers.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, body repairs, tire and battery replacements, wiring repairs, fluid checks, and winterization.
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities.
Requirements
- Completion of a diesel and construction equipment mechanic trainee program or two years of journey-level mechanic experience, including diesel repair, or equivalent training/experience.
- Active Pennsylvania Class 1, 4, or 7 Inspection Mechanic Certification.
- Class C driver’s license.
- Ability to perform essential job functions, meet legal and residency criteria, and comply with employment and background checks.
- No telework options; work may include weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
