Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities Summary: The Die Setter will work in conjunction with each other to complete die set ups in an efficient and safe manner.
Job Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned and required.
- Perform complete die sets per set up book i.e. set up presses by installing and testing dies, load press feeders and dereelers, adjust guides, fixtures, conveyors and other aspects of the press
- Obtain first off approval of new set ups, accurately measure test pieces and adjust press and dies to ensure parts produced meet required specifications
- Inspect/Accept/Reject material/parts per work instruction / process book / procedures
- Inspect and tag dies for cleaning and repair
