About the Company

  • Stamping: Hot and conventional stamping (100–800 tons), automotive & industrial metals, multi-location facilities for high-volume production
  • Laser Cutting: Multi-axis laser systems for prototyping & production, flat and 3D part cutting, trimming, and hole piercing, versatile with various metals and thicknesses
  • Welding & Assembly: Spot welding for Ultra High Strength Steel & press-hardened parts, highly automated robotic cells for precision and efficiency, focused on quality, speed, and cost reduction

Schedule

3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with overtime based on company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust various sizes of dies into stamping presses to ensure parts are produced within specification.
  • Perform necessary die adjustments at setups and check accuracy during production.
  • Configure, adjust, and operate automatic or semi-automatic presses and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure quality production of assigned jobs at expected production levels.
  • Pre-stage all dies at the press and set them properly according to Set Up Sheets.
  • Shut down all jobs at the end of run and return dies to proper storage location.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and lubricating machines.
  • Work closely with Tool Room to provide information needed for accurate diagnosis and repair of dies.
  • Set up and operate mechanically or computer-driven presses to produce parts.
  • Check machine operation and report faults to the supervisor.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and assist in its implementation.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area in a 5S manner.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure quality in the workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating presses or in a related area.
  • Forklift license is required.
  • Crane license is required.

Skills

  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of quality control, cost reduction, materials, and production processes; basic knowledge of press operation; proficiency in English (grammar, language) and Math.
  • Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Abilities: Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions; ability to accurately prepare documents, production sheets, and reports; ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; ability to work independently and make decisions.

Training Requirements

  • General Safety.
  • Quality System Awareness and Procedures.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Factory environment involving walking and standing for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Continuous or repetitive arm-hand movements while operating machinery.
  • Regular stooping, bending, and twisting.
  • Fast-paced environment with standard 40-hour weeks; overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise (frequently loud at 90 dBA).
  • Wearing personal protective or safety equipment is required.
  • Work in a non-air-conditioned, variable-temperature factory setting.
  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
  • Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment physical, and background checks.
