About the Role
This position will learn and facilitate the correction and maintenance of extrusion tooling to ensure it produces quality extrusions at the desired rate.
Responsibilities
- Learn all proper methods for repairing and modifying dies, feeders, portholes, and support tooling to achieve the production of high-quality extrusions.
- Learn how to apply regular maintenance requirements, including caustic cleaning, polishing, nitriding, and inspection for tooling stress cracks and excessive wear.
- Gain a full understanding of industry tolerance requirements, print reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Learn how to maintain and keep detailed records of die corrections and die history.
- Compile, store, and retrieve production data for good die ratio and efficiency gains.
- Support the die polishing process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary within the Die Correction Department.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.57–$22.60, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Travel Requirements
The travel required for this position is 1%.
