Die Maintenance Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the company safety, environmental, and quality programs.
• Prep dies that are going outside for storage.
• Assist in die movement.
• Prep and maintain dies for the press line.
• Using overhead crane as needed. For example, opening, closing, flipping, and moving dies in and out of storage.
• Shipping and receiving tooling and components.
• Basic Tig Welding.
• Identifying and correcting broken, dull, or chipped die components.
• PM dies.
• Inspecting chain and equipment.
• Filling out PM and Visual Check Sheets.
• Basic fork truck operation.
• Making minor repairs.
• Operating Tool Room equipment.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, climb, and work on feet for extended time periods.
