Didactic/Clinical Coordinator (Med Dist Lecturer) - Physician Assistant Program

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience and experience in Physician Assistant education.
• Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) board certification.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Preferred qualifications include:
  • PA-C certification.
  • Master's degree or doctorate degree with 5 years of experience in Physician Assistant education.
  • Experience providing hospital-based inpatient Physician Assistant clinical care and working within associated subspecialties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detailed, accurate, with strong quantitative, scientific, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and fostering an inclusive academic environment.
  • Experience working in an urban setting and understanding disparities within academic medicine.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to promote cooperative and collaborative clinical initiatives.

Benefits

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
