Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care delivery
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices
- Cookordinate team meetings to optimize patient care plans
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff
- Collaborate with leadership to support strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage resource allocation and clinical workflows to enhance operational efficiency
- Facilitate communication between all departments
- Identify and address clinical risk factors to improve patient safety
- Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as instructed
- Administer medications and injections
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
- Maintain nursing stations and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
- Exhibits a high degree of courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Absorb X-Ray and EKGs
- Assist Occupational Medicine staff with as needed
- Performs other related duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting
- Must obtain and maintain BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in clinical information systems and healthcare technology
- Demonstrated experience in team management and staff development
- Current professional registration and licensure as required
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
