Clinical Coordinator-Medical Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care delivery
• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices
• Cookordinate team meetings to optimize patient care plans
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage resource allocation and clinical workflows to enhance operational efficiency
• Facilitate communication between all departments
• Identify and address clinical risk factors to improve patient safety
• Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as instructed
• Administer medications and injections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
• Maintain nursing stations and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
• Exhibits a high degree of courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Absorb X-Ray and EKGs
• Assist Occupational Medicine staff with as needed
• Performs other related duties assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting
• Must obtain and maintain BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in clinical information systems and healthcare technology
• Demonstrated experience in team management and staff development
• Current professional registration and licensure as required
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
