Dialysis RN Clinical Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator oversees the management and operation of a dialysis clinic, assuming full responsibility in the absence of the Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and operational processes to enhance patient health and reduce hospitalizations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure effective staffing and resource utilization.
• Update logs, prepare dialysis run sheets, and ensure proper billing documentation.
• Develop standards for patient care services and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Promote quality management through staff and patient education, reviewing incident reports, and participating in quality improvement programs.
• Ensure clinic compliance with federal, state, and local laws, assist with corrective actions, and oversee emergency procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with medical professionals, staff, vendors, and the community, and respond effectively to inquiries and complaints.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and foster a team-oriented environment.
