Dialysis RN Charge Nurse

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operations and management of staff schedules.
• Absence and monitoring of patient conditions before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Coordination and assurance of high-quality patient care and safety compliance during dialysis.
• Guidance and mentorship to nursing staff and assistance with training new employees.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to discuss care plans.
• Documentation and maintenance of accurate patient records, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices regarding dialysis care and implementation of new procedures as necessary.

Requirements

• Nursing Degree (RN) from an accredited program.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare dialysis setting, with 1-2 years focused on nursing care for End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients.
• Valid RN license for the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
