Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
- Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
- Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
- Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS within 1 year of hire.
- 6 months of dialysis nursing experience required.
- 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
CRRN certification preferred (if you don’t have it, we can help you obtain it).
