Responsibilities
- Perform hemodialysis treatment procedures safely and efficiently.
- Assess patients thoroughly and document responses to renal failure and treatments.
- Develop and implement care plans, collaborating with various healthcare professionals.
- Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications, collect laboratory specimens, and perform routine tests.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the dialysis unit, including set-up, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure all tasks are completed.
- Assume primary nurse responsibilities in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Program and contribute to facility safety.
- Report errors, near-misses, and concerns to management.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
- Current RN license for Missouri and current CPR certification.
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience, with two to three years preferred.
- Strong technical and computer proficiency.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Understanding of renal function and its consequences.
- Knowledge of ESRD and its treatment.
- Experience with infection control and safety protocols.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $50.00 to $55.00 per hour, based on documented experience, qualifications, and market data.
Schedule
This Dialysis Unit operates Monday through Saturday at Moberly Correctional Facility in Moberly, MO.
