Dialysis Nurse Manager

About the role
The Dialysis Nurse Manager oversees dialysis facility management and supervises nursing personnel to ensure safe, efficient dialysis treatments for all DCI patients.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patients and staff and provide direct patient care when needed
- Ensure all hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis facility follow DCI policies and procedures
- Develop and implement standards of care in accordance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI’s Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, and clinic-specific requirements
- Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff alongside the nurse educator
- Coordinate DCI, QAPI, and risk management program implementation with the quality and risk manager
- Collaborate on patient care initiatives with the medical director, social worker, dietitian, charge nurses, technical managers, staff nurses, and equipment technicians
- Integrate unit activities related to patient care, staff education, research projects, and unit expansions with the clinic operations director and medical director
- Manage supervision of nursing, social work, dietitian, and technical staff with the medical director
- Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DCI's policies and applicable laws
- Work closely with the area operations director to identify operational efficiencies
Requirements
- Accredited nursing degree (BSN, AA, RN)
- Six months’ dialysis experience required; one year preferred
- One year clinical nursing experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Current TN Registered Nurse license

Pay
Pay range from $95,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.
