About the Role
This position involves providing patient care in a clinical setting, performing tasks such as blood sample collection, medication profile reviews, and documenting treatments and communications accurately.
Responsibilities
- Efficient use of supplies and staff labor hours
- Assisting with billing log updates
- Performing duties to meet patient care and operational needs
- Obtaining blood samples for lab analysis
- Documenting medication profiles and treatment activities
- Reporting patient condition changes and equipment issues
- Maintaining compliance with healthcare practice acts and policies
- Participating in staff meetings, training, and continuing education
Qualifications & Skills
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state
- CPR certification within 90 days
- Ability to distinguish primary colors
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days
- Effective communication in English
- Organizational skills and task management
- Preferred: dialysis experience and completion of approved training program
