Dialysis Biomedical Technician – Acute West Bloomfield – 20 hours/week

About the Role

Primarily responsible for the maintenance of dialysis equipment, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general care of the machines. Travels to any of the GHS units as needed. May participate in on-call rotation for technical aspects of the acute dialysis program.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics/biomedical technology, or two years' equivalent experience, to include military, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or industry-recognized technical training program.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for understanding electronic circuitry and for troubleshooting biomedical/electronic equipment.
• Proven use of basic electronic testing equipment.
• Completion of a B.M.E.T. internship is preferred.
