About The Job
Medstar Health is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist for their team. This is a PRN position.
Primary Duties
- Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality.
- Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
- Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions.
- Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order.
- Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
- Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures.
- Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and maintains room.
- Performs radiographic examinations.
- Prepares written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Requests and will order supplies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Associate degree preferred.
Pay
This position has a hiring range of USD $29.73 - USD $48.63 /Hr.
