Diagnostic Sonographer - PRN

About the role

The role involves operating sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, gynecological, and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessments
• Analyzing sonograms
• Communicating findings to radiologists
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Absorbing and documenting patient history
• Assisting in training students, new physicians, and staff
• Supporting departmental operations

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited program
• ARDMS certification within 18 months
• Proficiency in ultrasound procedures
• Variety of experience levels available
