Role and Facility Information

Join our Regional Medical Imaging Team providing services for the Kootenay Boundary Region from the comfort of your home workstation with regular scheduled in hospital workdays at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. We are privileged to read Medical Imaging studies from KBRH (Trail), KLH (Nelson), Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks' Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp.

About the Role

We welcome new graduates or those interested in locum opportunities during the recruitment process. Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.

Pay

• Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
• Benefits and Incentives: May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
• Retention Premium: 11.48%
• Retention Flat Fee: $17,791
• Relocation Funding: Available up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada.
• Recruitment Incentive: $15,000

• Rural CME: max of $6,600/year after 4 years in practice
• Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
