Diagnostic Radiologist - Locum Tenens

About the role

This position is for a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in emergency and inpatient imaging services. The role involves providing comprehensive remote interpretation of emergency studies such as plain films, ultrasounds, CT, MRI, PET, and nuclear medicine during night shifts. The radiologist will interpret a caseload averaging 82 RVUs per shift, covering all ages in an emergency department setting, with no call responsibilities beyond scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% telehealth emergency radiology interpretations
• Manage various modalities and procedures remotely
• Adhere to established protocols and workflows

Qualifications

• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Experience in emergency and inpatient imaging interpretation
• Ability to work independently in a telehealth environment
• Proficiency with PACS systems and various imaging modalities
