About the role
We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide comprehensive inpatient imaging services in a rural community hospital.
Responsibilities
- Interpret approximately 35 diagnostic studies daily
- Perform 3 mammography cases daily
- Conduct around 5 interventional radiology procedures weekly, including:
- Lumbar punctures
- Myelograms
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Arthrograms
- Joint aspirations and injections
- Utilize Synapse PACS and PowerScribe dictation systems
- Manage a diverse caseload across modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy
- Ensure quality patient care and manage workflow in a regional healthcare setting
Requirements
- Experience in general diagnostic radiology
- Board certification negotiable
- Strong interpretive skills
- Proficiency with advanced imaging equipment
- Ability to handle a varied caseload efficiently
