Diagnostic Radiologist
About the role
Practice diagnostic radiology using CHA’s state of the art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. Imaging services are provided at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital. All sites are fully integrated with PACS, EMR (Epic), and CHA is partnered with Abridge, a leader in generative AI for clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide imaging services at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
- Use CHA’s state-of-the-art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy.
- Collaborate with the Department of Radiology to ensure efficient and effective imaging services.
- Participate in on-call assignments structured as a late shift rotation, with night call coverage provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification/eligibility.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of diagnostic radiology.
- Experience with various imaging modalities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The full-time total compensation salary range of $525,000-$575,000 is comprised of a guaranteed base salary based on years of experience plus an annual incentive.
Schedule
On-call assignments are structured as a late shift rotation. Night call coverage is provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.
